Beta Tester Agreement

This agreement is between you and Cadvix, and covers the CADVIX beta. It sits alongside the Terms of Service and the End User Licence Agreement.

1. What the beta is

An early release of CADVIX, offered to a limited number of businesses, 100 places, one per business, before general availability, in exchange for a reduced price and honest feedback. It is not finished software.

2. How you join

You join through our website, with the link we give you. Checkout is run by Paddle, our merchant of record, which takes your card, handles tax and issues the invoice. A place holds from 1 to 25 seats. We may decline or refund a place where the beta is plainly not a fit for the business, and we will say so.

3. What you get

  • Access to CADVIX during the beta, and each new version as we release it.
  • The first two months free. Your card is taken at the checkout and not charged during them, and you can cancel before the first payment from your Paddle account without paying anything.
  • After that, half the public price, on every seat, for as long as your subscription stays active without a break. Your price is always half of the public price in force at the time: if the public price changes, we will tell you by email at least 30 days ahead, and your price stays at half of it.
  • Direct influence on what gets built. We will ask, and we will listen.
  • Support from the people who build CADVIX, not a queue.

If you cancel and later come back, you come back at the price current at that time. The half price follows the subscription, not the person.

4. What we ask

  • Use it on real work. At least one real job a month.
  • Tell us when something breaks, and tell us plainly. The Feedback button in CADVIX and in the designer is the quickest way.
  • Tell us when something is merely annoying too. That is usually the more useful report.
  • Join a short call with us now and then.
  • Give us a reasonable chance to fix a problem before concluding it cannot be fixed.

5. What to expect, stated honestly

  • There will be faults. That is what a beta is.
  • Updates reach you through CADVIX: it gets each new version ready and installs it when you press.
  • Windows may warn you when you install, until our code-signing certificate is issued.
  • Backup to your own Google Drive becomes available once Google approves the connection. Until then, back up to a folder you choose, and keep your own copy of your work.
  • Features described as planned are planned. Nothing on our website should be read as a promise of a date.

6. Your work

Your designs and client records live on your own computer and are yours. Some things do reach us readable: daily usage counts, crash reports, the problems and ideas you send, session packages from the designer, and Cadvix AI's requests. Section 5 of our Privacy Policy describes each one, and a manager can turn each off in CADVIX, Settings, Privacy. Keep your own backup: a lost computer without a copy means lost work.

7. Feedback

Anything you tell us about the software, we may use to improve it, without obligation or payment. That is the trade. It gives us no right in your designs, your client records or anything about your business beyond what the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy describe.

8. Confidentiality

You may show CADVIX to your own clients and use it in your work; that is the point. Please do not publish screenshots of unreleased features or share builds with people outside your business without asking us first.

9. Ending it

You may leave at any time; see the Refund Policy. We may end a beta place where the software is not being used at all, or where these terms are broken. We will speak to you before we do.

10. When the beta ends

Your subscription continues at the beta tester price, half the public price, for as long as it stays active. Nothing needs to be done and nothing is migrated. We will tell you when the beta label comes off.

11. Law and transfer

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Israel, as section 18 of the Terms of Service sets out, and transfers with the Terms of Service under their section 20.
