End User Licence Agreement

Effective: 28 October 2026 · Version 3.0

This agreement covers the CADVIX desktop application and the CADVIX designer, together "the software". It sits alongside our Terms of Service; where the two differ about the software itself, this document governs. "Cadvix", "we" and "us" have the meaning the Terms of Service give them, successors and assignees included.

1. The licence

While your subscription is in good standing, Cadvix grants your business a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and run the software for the business's own work.

2. Seats

A seat is a person, not a computer. A person holding a seat may install the software on the computers they work on, and is signed in on one of them at a time. Two people may not work under one seat. A business buys and returns seats inside the software. Adding a seat takes effect immediately and is charged by Paddle; removing one takes effect at the next renewal.

3. What you may not do

  • copy the software, except as needed to install and back it up;
  • rent it, lease it, resell it, or run it as a service for anyone else;
  • reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it, except where law permits despite this term;
  • work around its seat limits, its licensing or its version gate;
  • remove or alter our notices and marks.

4. Your data

The software keeps your designs and your client records on your own computer, the records in an encrypted database. That data is yours, and we hold no key that opens it. What the software sends to us, and the switches that stop each item, are set out in section 5 of our Privacy Policy: daily usage counts, crash reports, the problems and ideas you send, session packages from the designer, and Cadvix AI's requests. The licence you give us over your content is in section 6 of the Terms of Service.

5. Installation

The software installs for the signed-in Windows user and does not need an administrator. By installing or using the software you accept this licence, the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy.

Until our code-signing certificate is issued, Windows may warn you before the installer runs. We would rather tell you that here than have you discover it on the day.

6. Updates

Updates are included while your subscription is active. CADVIX checks for a new version when someone signs in, gets it ready in the background, checks it against a list signed with our own key, and installs it when a person presses to install. CADVIX installs and updates the designer the same way, and waits until no kitchen is open. A computer that falls too far behind keeps working, and is asked to update.

7. What happens if the subscription lapses

The software moves to a state where you can open, read and export everything you have made. It stops accepting new work. It does not delete your database and does not lock your existing work away. Restoring the subscription restores full use.

8. Third-party components and services

The software includes open-source components under their own licences, which continue to apply to those components. A current list is available on request from admin@cadvix.com.

Cadvix AI uses models provided by third-party AI providers, under section 7 of the Terms of Service.

Unreal Engine. The CADVIX designer uses Unreal® Engine. Unreal® is a trademark or registered trademark of Epic Games, Inc. in the United States of America and elsewhere. Unreal® Engine, Copyright 1998 to 2026, Epic Games, Inc. All rights reserved.

9. Term and termination

This licence runs while your subscription does. It ends if the subscription ends, or if you breach it materially and do not put that right within 30 days of us asking. On ending, stop using the software. Section 7 still applies to your access to your own work.

10. Warranties and liability

We provide the software with reasonable care and skill. Beyond that, and as far as the law allows, it is provided as it is. The limits on liability in section 13 of the Terms of Service, the indemnity in section 15 and the force majeure clause in section 17 apply here too.

11. What the software is for

The software is a design, sales and visualisation tool, not a manufacturing or CNC tool. Every dimension, specification and drawing it produces, and every change Cadvix AI proposes, must be independently checked before anything is cut, machined, ordered or built. Section 12 of the Terms of Service sets this out in full.

12. Changes to this licence

We may update this licence. Where a change matters to you, we will tell you by email at least 30 days before it takes effect, except where the law, a security fix or a third-party provider requires it sooner. Carrying on using the software after that means you accept the change.

13. Transfer

We may transfer or assign this licence, and our rights and obligations under it, without your consent, on the same basis as section 20 of the Terms of Service.

14. Law

This licence is governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts in Tel Aviv-Jaffa have exclusive jurisdiction, as section 18 of the Terms of Service sets out.
